Twisted Bars (Y-Bars) are made by twisting the bars after hot rolling. The Twisted Bars (Y-Bars) are entered into cooling bed then kept for natural cooling and twisted at room temperature. The bars are stretched to some extent during twisting thus the inside grains that are in crystal forms are crushed and the bars attain strength.
