The Mealie Brand Maun Plough is similar in construction to the traditional ox-drawn plough, but is lighter and designed for use with donkeys. The Maun Plough combines lightness in weight with sturdy construction for maximum strength and ease of use. The plough has been tried, tested and approved in design and performance in Zimbabwe by the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Agritex and in the UK by the Silso Agricultural Research Institute.
