The Terminal connects to a serial interface and becomes the interface to computers and other equipment. Also, the Terminal interfaces to the UNI~HOST PC software application that comprises of a generic basic module (driver) and a customized GUI application. The GSM Server Terminal can be applied as a stand-alone configuration operated from a telephone using SMS or DTMF or in a system with a database Host application.
