The Remote Start option is used in conjunction with a Manual Transfer switch. It is a short range RF remote control which simply starts and stops your generator. The generator can be started using the remote control, the Manual Change Over Switch moved from the mains position to neutral and then through to Generator as per the diagrams below. This will transfer the load from the mains to the generator which you have started using the remote.
