The core of the grape supply is found just to the north of Stellenbosch, bordered by the town of Wellington to the North-East, and the mountains of the Drakenstein and Franschoek ranges to the South-East. Sauvignon Blanc performs better in the cooler parts of the region, and grapes are sources from these areas. The crisp, full bodied tropical flavours produce a lingering fruity aftertaste. The wine has a full mouth feel with a lively delicate and long, pleasing finish.
