The Keermont Syrah 2013 has a lighter intensity cherry red colour. On the nose it exudes primary characters of fresh cut herbs, lavender and blueberries as well as more savoury vanilla notes. The wine is soft and elegant on entry with flavours of red apple, spicy fruit and a hint of stemminess. Dusty tannins and a fresh acidity hold the tension of the wine into a long, dry succulent finish. Drink 2016-2024.
