In a direct solar water heating system, the water that will finally come out of the taps, shower or bath is heated directly in the solar collector (flat plate) by the principle of convection and is transferred to the storage tank for use. The storage tanks are typically positioned horizontally above the collector to allow for Thermosiphon flow, in other words, hot water will rise naturally into the tank from the flat plate where it is then stored for use. | +27 861 205 206 | [email protected]
