This system utilises the power of the wind to drive a double action piston water pump. Not ideal for borehole substitution, but our pump’s key feature is its ability to convert wind energy into a serious height and distance pump. A unique feature is the complete lack of gearing and oil bath. The unit is a self-regulating system using the pressure of the wind hitting a steel plate and this in turn will furl the blades out of the wind, much like a helicopter feathering its blades.
