The vintage 2014 was a softer more elegant vintage and therefore the wine is already quite approachable. Like all our grapes and vineyards on the farm we believe in minimum intervention. All the grapes are farmed organically with no pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers used. No irrigation is also used and we are one of the last wineries in South Africa to have old vineyards without irrigation. We believe in our “terroir” and our unique soil and we want to express this in our wine. All grapes are handpicked and destemmed.
