Weco (Pty) Ltd is a medium sized company operating in the engineering sector. The group specializes in the manufacture of component parts, to the OEM specification. The primary focus is on rock drilling equipment used extensively in South Africa's mining industry. Founded in 1972 by Hubert Wiehl, under the name Docla, the company has for over 35 years serviced and assisted major mining houses throughout the world with the manufacture and repair of various types of rock drilling equipment and spare parts for all types of mining machinery. In 1987 Weco Mining was founded to facilitate the sales of these products.
