VITALITE is a social enterprise with headquarters in Lusaka and sales outlets across Zambia. Incorporated in 2013, Vitalite distributes renewable energy products and services in rural and urban areas. We strive to provide clean energy access to the 75% of Zambians who are not connected to the grid, and to reduce the ‘poverty tax’, whereby the poorest pay the most to meet their basic needs. VITALITE’s mission is to use effective and efficient market-based approaches to deliver appropriate, acceptable and affordable clean energy household products and services to under-served markets in Zambia and the region.
