Victor Industrial Equipment (Pty) Ltd (VIE), a South African subsidiary of UK based Victor Products Holdings Ltd, was founded in 1979 and is based in Boksburg, Gauteng. VIE manufactures an extensive range of explosion protected electrical connectors and lighting primarily for the underground coal mining industry. Increasingly it is being recognised throughout the tunnelling industry that the products designed and manufactured by VIE to meet the severe conditions found in the underground coal mining industry can prove to be the most reliable in these similarly harsh conditions.
