Aquaculture Zimbabwe is a local non-governmental organization working for the development of the fisheries and aquaculture sector for improved livelihoods in Zimbabwe.The founding members were driven by a conviction that fish can positively transform lives. Fishing communities in Zimbabwe have long relied on fish from local rivers and dams for household food and income and we recognise their efforts. Providing support to the fishers and taking fish to traditionally non fishing communities became Aquaculture Zimbabwe’s priority after realising the potential that lies in fish integration with commonly practiced agricultural activities in Zimbabwe.
