Sweet pepper takes about 65 to 95 days to maturity. The seed rate is 2kg/ha for direct seeding and 0.4 to 0.8kg when transplanting. The total water requirement is 600mm. The yield to be expected is 25 to 35 t/ha. Harvesting period can extend up to 90 days after maturity.
