Unilam Pressings supplies three grades of non-orientated electrical steel (A400, A470 and A600) ranging from 0.5 mm – 0.65 mm in thickness. Non-orientated electrical steel is made up of iron-silicon alloys and has magnetic properties that are practically the same in all directions across the plane. Non-orientated electrical steel is used on motors, small transformers, generators, lighting ballasts and ignition coils.
