Fruit Nectar is the product obtained by adding water with or without sugars, honey, sugar syrups, sweeteners, flavourings, colorants and food additives to fruit juice which will result in a reduced fruit juice content. The product should also meet the minimum requirements as set out by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for the individual fruit species or blends and may vary between 12.5% and 90%.
